Materials for DIY wooden bead garland

  • Perforated wooden beads
  • 2 wooden washers
  • 4 or 5 colours of Pintyplus Chalk spray paint
  • Wire or thin rope
  • Wooden sticks or chopsticks

The process is very simple. Paint the wooden beads and washers and thread them together to form the garland.

The best way to paint the wooden beads is to put them onto wooden sticks (meat squires will do the trick) . Stick the sticks into a cardboard box and then you can spray every angle. Just change the beads when they are dry and you can spray the next colour.

Then use the Pintyplus Spray varnish to finish the beads . This will give a long lasting finish to your garland.
